An Introduction

While Paul and I are sad about Tuffy's passing, we wanted to introduce some new friends. These two guys are shorthairs we found at the SPCA. They had so many piggies to choose from that it was really hard to pick! We decided on these two because they're brothers and had to be adopted together. This way, they'll have company during the day and can grow up together. They were brought to the SPCA the day after their birthday on May 24.

Paul said their names they had (either came with them or someone gave them) were goofy: Rain and Smooches. So I picked names befitting a great team: Woodward and Bernstein. Did you expect something else? Woodward is on the left, and Bernstein is on the right. Woodward seemed to be a little more outgoing than Bernstein - true to form of the team, Woodward seemed to overshadow Bernstein. Bernstein does have some of Tuffy's coloring, but he's agouti all over, and Tuffy was Abysinnian. Of course, Tuffy was one of a kind and irreplaceable.

So far, they seem to be following each other around the cage a lot, but they've been sitting in the tube like this a lot. I think they're still a little overwhelmed. They also have the softest baby fur imaginable. And of course, Paul is already taking to calling them Woody and Bernie.

I'm not sure we've decided what to do about the blog name or logo. Paul says it's part of the Tuffy brand and Tuffco line. Stay tuned and come visit our babies!
